Our Staff

Thank you for your interest in Kidz Tyme Academy. We offer private educational childcare year round, full and part-time programs for children ages six weeks to four years of age as well as an after school program for students in elementary school.

This is a privately owned facility, with a ‘hands-on’ owner, who is on site and involved with the day to day running of this school.


Kidz Tyme is owned and operated by David and Doris Darko. Doris was an accountant with several years of managing consulting experience with Deloitte & Touche. David is a nuclear engineer with over 15 years experience managing power plants all over the world. David and Doris are focused on providing the highest quality educational childcare for your child.

The director, Lynda Mull, has been with us since we opened our doors in 2004. She was the director at the preschool at First Baptist Church in Woodstock for over 15 years. She is a kind, loving grandmother who treats each and every child with love, and truly has your child’s best interest at heart.

Melissa Mull is our assistant director and has also been with Kidz Tyme since 2004.
She is a product of Etowah High school, and has several years experience, teaching in educational childcare. You can always count on her to give you an answer with a smile and the kids adore her.
